  1. Time Warner was the first company out of the gates to lock streaming up inside the house last year, now they want to add another mobile device to its list, the iPhone. I can understand why as well, that 42 inch television in the living room or the two 36 inch televisions in the rooms can’t hold a candle to that 4 inch screen of awesomeness. In fact isn’t it the iPhone that they made the private movie theater for? Yea the TV under Your iPhone Hat at CES was one of them, I can sit on my couch and tune out the world with some goof clip on hat hanger for my iPhone. I don’t see myself doing that though. I think I will continue to use the Sling Adapter that I have hooked up to my DISH receiver. It allows me to stream all my live channels and recorded shows to my iPhone, or iPad no matter where I am, but most importantly, out of my house. Working at DISH I watched all the providers release the same type of app, and to tell you the truth, it made me a little sad that they were taking a great advancement like streaming and locking it in the house instead of doing what the sling adapter does, and give the subscribers their television everywhere.
